    Default Geometrical Portrait

I keep seeing the use of geometrical shapes to draw portrait of people and animals it seems quite fashionable drawing to do and some of the animal ones have really been effective. Thought I would try it myself using an Octagon shape throughout the drawing with a few edits. Sorry about the washed out colours but I used CMYK as I was going to print this on laserjet. Try it our ourself just using geometrical shapes (quick shapes) using a selfie from your phone and the like in a locked layer below. Trouble is though the face shape is OK but there is no age to the face so it looks nothing like me. Took about 3/4 hours to do so have ago yourself

I love the idea and what you did. I wonder if I could do as well. I might give it a try but at the moment I am still trying to figure out how to do my current project. Oh well maybe one day I'll come to terms with it.

Yes Gary may use it as an icon or as an avatar. Used a favour yesterday and got it printed out in A3+ and used foam board as backing now up in study but it wont stay long as it not that good. It certainly worth 3/4 an hours work as a experiment just sticking to simple shapes.
