    Default Uploading a site with and without .html

    Hi,

    I have never come across this problem, but I am updating my site with a fresh design.
    How can I get both pages to work, for example;

    .com/shop

    .com/shop.html

    If I upload the site with one of them it deletes the other and vice versa...

    Thanks, Lee.

    .com/shop indicates a separate folder named shop. You can publish a separate site to shop just like you would publish any site with an index file and index_html_files folder and the actual link is .com/shop

    .com/shop.html indicates a page within your website that is named shop.html

    Does this make sense?

    But when I upload the .com/shop to overlay with the new design it doesn't overlay it....
    It will only do so when I upload .com/shop.html and then go back and upload .com/shop

    Not 100% what your problem is here aufpet, but one thing to note is that Xara by default creates an index.htm file rather than an an index.html file. Browsers have a pecking order of which file to load by default, can't say which at present, but you may find you have both "index.htm" & "index.html" files on your server and this isn't why you're seeing the latest version of the site.
