Uploading Problem!

I'm pulling my hair out now, as not one single person has been able to help.

I have contacted Godaddy and Virgin my ISP.

On Sunday I could upload and update my site, but yesterday and today I cannot do a single thing!
I have tried everything in my power to make this happen but it won't.

I am getting the following error message;

ftp couldn't retrieve (retr failed) the specified file

Please someone help, as this is disastrous for me and my site which needs an urgent update.

I'm using Xara Web Designer Premium.

http://kb.sp.parallels.com/en/121260 suggests there have been a change to a server file.
Perhaps you can pass this onto your ISP for confirmation.

The same page suggests you can use FileZilla.
FileZilla is a free download and as easy to set up as going through your Xara application.

That page makes no sense whatsoever, I can't understand what to do.
I refuse to use FileZilla, as I've had nothing but problems with it in the past.

Lee, it wasn't for you to act on, just to pass onto your ISP.
Fair one on your choice not to use FileZilla.
