    Just use integer pixel units.

    But I meant all kinds of shapes, not just those that need no anti-aliasing when aligned on pixels.

    I really need to check if Illustrator or Corel does it better than Xara, most probably not, and I'll shut up then. ; )

    Yep, it's the same in Illustrator and Corel Draw. When you don't want the wrong pixels, you'll need a workaround.
