Baseball bat and cloth cover

Hello. I want to drape a piece of cloth across a tube, so my analogy is to have a baseball bat + a piece of cloth: if you lay the cloth on the bat, the cloth accepts the shape of the bat as its own and fits the shape of the bat.

How do I do this with Xara?

I would apply an Outward Chisled Bevel to create the draped effect.
