    Default Far Out Stereograms

My partner Gene Levine and I were preparing our images for the next Japanese stereogram due in December. Our theme was The Universe.

I am 21 images into the assignment shooting for 20. Gene has done about the same.

Today we were informed that Sales & Marketing (two words that drive fear into my heart) decided not to do The Universe and have changed the assignment.

    Ack! Arg! And Gack!

I am attaching a few of my favorites.

Back to the drawing board as they say. I am thinking of self publishing a book of these through either CreateSpace or Ingram Spark. Both now offer full color on demand book printing.

Really impressive and easy to snap into 3D.

    Lulu.com any good for self-publishing?

I think Lulu.com is more a publishing service for self publishing. They charge you for the layout and any additional services.

I have done two books through CreateSpace (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IRNT788 and http://www.amazon.com/dp/0692265821), and both have turned out really well. I did all the page layout, cover design, and typography in Designer Pro X9 and 10. I also did the cover illustration for Lonely River Village.

CreateSpace makes the process pretty straight forward and there is no up front charge. They make the book available to Amazon (to a variety of countries), and you can produce a Kindle version at the same time.

Space Arcade is the only one I don't like.

    Nice ones Gary!

Don't you use depth maps to make these things somehow?

If so I bet you could make some awesome Stereograms with these:

Yep, those are depth images. But Mr/Ms Takamatsu owns those images so he/she shall have to make the stereograms.
