I tried to address your comments made in the Phase III.

I added a Home button for those of you who wanted a less oblique way to find the home page. I made the buttons smaller and put them a little lower so I could put the image swaps in the top counter of the g.

I made an attemt to make the swap images a little more contiguous.

And I ferreted out the offensive JavaScript which I will replace when I can figure out what was wrong.

    Any other comments?

    I appreciate your feedback.

Finally the Xara server (not my server Mr. Huff) is still down. I'll keep trying to log on.

Great Gary, I don't get the message error on page any more, everything works well in my browser (IE5.5), doesn't take too long to load on a 56k modem and I like that you've moved the rollovers to the top of the G.

The latest incarnation is much nicer and more pleasing on the eye. I felt distinctly unhappy about your first rendition although a combination of humility & inability to put a finger on its woes, prevented me from making a statement.

This is much improved - except that I notice the dark blue crayon at the top of the 'home' image is just a tad less? well? sharpened? than? the? others?????

Only joking hope it works well for you!

    Regards

The home page is fine (IE 5). All subsequent pages show errors. Whatever you did to the main page ... paste it into the others. I'm looking at the code and you know Gary, there are easier trouble free "copy/paste" scripts out there that aren't hard to implement. Apart from that, the look is nice. Kinda harkens back to the radar screen don't it?

I just had a quick look and everything looked fine, Wayne.

And I am not sure what you mean by copy and paste script. That should be long gone.

Something I do is I remove the menu link from the current screen. That is the menu button HOME on the home page has no link, so you don't get a screen blink. Maybe not good practice, again interested in what others do.

It depends how sensitive the browser settings are. I've attatched the "internet options" dialog for my settings. If I uncheck the "Display every script error", everything's fine. I do some web work sometimes and usually leave this checked to verify scripts. Having said that, those who DO have this checked and are not aware of it, may pose a problem for you. Particularly if they don't know how to adjust their browser and uncheck it accordingly.

    Nevertheless, you're getting errors somewhere.

But I have to admit, I like the image swaps in the descender of the g. I think it's because at the bottom of the page it brings your eye all the way around the page. At the top it seems too abrupt.

    Just my penny's worth.
