    Exclamation Character Spacing - Kerning

    Hi
In Designer pro x9 is there a way to add kerning to the text, I mean character spacing for a single word?
    Any help would be appreciable

Hi Kristtee and welcome to Talk Graphics.
If you click on the thumbnail it will enlarge so you can see it more clearly.
You just type your text using the Text Tool (Keyboard:T) and place your cursor where you want to alter the spacing.
In the Text Toolbar at the top of the workspace, click on either of the two triangles in the area I've highlighted in yellow to do the kerning.

And maybe tracking would be useful to you as well.

Just select some text with the text tool and alter the tracking with the controls directly above those highlighted by Bob's yellow.

Tracking adjusts the spacing between a selection of characters. Kerning adjusts the space between two specific characters.
