Swapping widget (slider) elements....??

Is it possible to somehow mix and match widget elements by changing the code?

I use the tile effect slide show (i'm using web designer premium 9) because I like the style of the prev/next buttons and the square icons/thumbs below the slideshow images. But, I dont really like the actual tile-effect transition. I much prefer the fade transition you can set using the NEW cycle 6 slideshow.

Is there any way to use the elements (buttons/icons/etc) from the tile effect slideshow on the cycle 6 widget? Or alternatively, apply the fade transition on the tile-effect transition slideshow?
