    Default Why these bright texts?

I have problems with my eyes which makes it hard for me to read bright text on bright backgrounds.
For example I tried "New from Content Catalogue" just to find that the bright blue text is almost impossbilbe for me to read.
It seems to be some kind of new trend to use bright text on bright backgrounds. I see it all the time in commersials on TV and also in TV-programs. The name of people that are interviewed are displayed in white on a just a fraction darker background of white. Almost impossible to read.

So, please change the color - or make it adjustable to me - in XDPX10.

I can view it okay Olle but obviously if it's causing you issues it will probably cause others issue too. It might be worth dropping support a heads up on your problem.

Just curious, what version are you using Olle? Because mine is white text on dark gray or black, but then I am not using the pro version because I don't need it, and, if you are maybe that makes a difference.

I am running Win 7 Home Premium, English version.
Now I am using Xara Designer Pro X10.

The program by default has white text on a dark gray background. But when I open the "New from Content Catalogue" from the menu the teext in the dialog box is bright blue on a white background.
Why does trends in graphics have to occur in programs like XDPX10?
When I work I need to be able to easily and fast find what I am looking for and has no need for fashion trends.

    ALT > CTRL > SHIFT > S

backup your configuration before doing this

you'll also get more screen real estate because the toolbar buttons are, thankfully, smaller

i hope they never remove this feature, i detest the grey ui

Attached you can see a screen dump of what disturbs me.

Besides... there is a graphic problem with the Screen Capture dialog in XDPX10 - some letters don't show...

This is the Screen Capture dialog box that has missing text.

the missing text is probably because you are using the light interface, which is not officially supported anymore, and not the dark one

More likely down to font size. I have to agree though that the blue text on white is not easy on the eyes.
