    Default Hobby Horse

Come and participate in the challenges. This one was my response to the July scribble, and, even though any software used for the challenge is acceptable, this one was done only with XP&GD 10. So check it out, and join in, it's great fun.

I would have thought that Xara should be used.
Then, if others wanted to, they could try to learn from someone's drawing. Or ask how it was created in Xara?
    But, that's only my opinion.

No Rik, the challenges has always been open to use any software. Personally, I think Xara software should be used but like you that's just my opinion. Awhile back I wanted to figure out how to do an animated kaleidoscope but wanted to limit the software to Xara because that's what I wanted to be able to do it in, and I was informed by some of our members that the challenges has always been open to use the software of choice. While they were not wrong, I stated that I wanted all as a community project to help figure it out using only Xara software.

    Thanks for that, Larry.
A little someone, in the back of my head, kept nagging me and saying that Xara software should be used.
So, it can be any software.

It's just a shame that I don't know how to use any other software to do any drawing!

Not a shame Rik. You and I know and many others on these forums know that Xara Is the best end we use it almost exclusively.
