Default Impression of depth and movement question

Simple question: I have a vector soccer ball. I want to convey the impression of movement from the background to the foreground of a picture. I realize it should be small in the background and larger in the foreground but I am not sure how to create a soft blur 'track' to convey this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Create a blend. First create a bitmap copy of the image using True Color + Alpha so the background is transparent.

    See attached .XAR file.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
