video Minimalist Film Poster - July 2014

    A slight variation this month.

    This month's challenge is Tangled.
Can you capture the plot, the drama or its memorable events in the film?

You need to sell the movie to passers-by and should be portrait format suitable to be seen from a distance.

What is different is I would also like submissions from anyone who can replicate any part of the official poster's artefacts:
    http://cdn.film-book.com/wp-content/...oster-2010.jpg.

By that, I mean the festoons of hair, the skin tone, the golden text, eyebrows; anything that proves that Xara's products are up to those used here.
keep your replicas to the same scale of the poster, 3051 x 4520 px so it could be a drop in replacement. If you can describe your minimal steps to recreating any part, that too will be great.

Okay, here's where I've got so far. Not easy at all and I need to tangle the irises up rather than the sharp transition. Work in progress

i'd say the poster is a 3d rendering with post-prod in photoshop
its not really a level playing field
but xara is no doubt up to the job nevertheless
If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
They're going to kill me anyway and I'd love to die the way I lived:
