How do I see what zoom level my screen is at?

How can I get to see what zoom level my screen is at?

Background
There used to be a %age zoom visible in one of the bars at the top of the screen, but it seems to have disappeared. How do I get it back??

go to xara window menu and click on control bars - in the box that opens tick 'button palette'

when this opens look for the 'set zoom factor' box - hold alt key and drag it off to the bar where you want it to be

[the box will probably show a value of 75% by default]

Keyboard shortcuts are also useful: 1 = 100%, 2 = 200%, 3 = 300%, 4= 400%, and 5 = 50%.

Sometimes a toolbar gets toggled off.

Go to Window > Control Bars and toggle the Standard Toolbar off and on and see if this helps.

If not then you can press Reset to return to the default configuration. Though if you press Reset, any custom toolbars you may have created will be deleted and you will need to recreate them.

you may have accidentally dragged it off the bar - if you do that without dragging it to a place it can dock it will just 'disappear'
