Cool XARA pro X Text Orientation

    Hello,

Could someone tell me if it is possible to change the text orientation in Xara from left to right, to top to bottom? In photoshop cs4 you can do it by the test T and the 2 arrows icon...

I just cant seem to find it in Xara.

I thank you for your help here.

    Thank you Egg!!

While this might work as a work around, man it sure seems Xara would have this simplified by now with a one click directional button....

    Cheers

Perhaps, but in reality how often do you use vertical text? I've used it probably 5 times. I have an easy workaround which meets my needs and an "automatic" button to achieve the same would be very low on my wish list

    Hi,
I am running Xara Graphic Designer Pro X9 . If you select the text tool...click on the page... red line with red nodes at either end shows up...type the text you want then select a red node and shorten the length to one letter the text you typed goes downward...is that what you are after.
