Thread: rendering issue

    Default rendering issue

I have an external application that I use for classes. I have a link to that application. I am in the process of designing my site (not uploaded yet) In my Nav bar I used a link to that application.

When I preview the site some of the graphics don't show up. I have tried several browsers and none of them work.Click image for larger version.

The odd thing is when I click the link directly without using Xara preview it works fine.Click image for larger version.

    Hi Diana

The problem probably lies with WD's Internet Explorer built in browser. In the top right of the WD browser window are buttons for your installed browsers (if a button is grayed out, the browser is not installed on your computer). Use these buttons to preview your page/site.

What is the direct link you're using Diana? It looks as though the preview is not showing the images as they're somewhere else other than in the index_html folder/

I am not sure if I understand what you are asking. The link I pasted in in the URL spot is this. The link works but the graphics in the link don't

    Did I answer your question?

    Hi Diana,

If I try your direct link to the LIU link you gave it doesn't shows broken images as well. I believe this is because you need to be logged-in to view them. If I right click over the broken image and choose "View Image" it just takes me to a log-in page, that's why I suspect a log-in problem.

The html bit re these images gives:
    <img width="32" height="32" border="0" src="https://creator.zoho.com/lapitup/liu-web-application/Images_Report/Register/image-download/1400538076361_Button_Add.png"></img>
So it would appear these images are only viewable after you log-in / register. You can probably see them if you're already logged-in.

You are correct. I will contact the developer that built the application for me and have him fix it. Thanks so much for the insight.
