Default Web Sesigner 9 Browser "flashing" on page changes

    Hi Everbody,

I've discovered that when I change pages in any browser, (lets say index.html links to contact.html), the process clears away the index.html arrangement...(my browser window is now fully blank)...and then re-draws the arrangement for contact.html

It occurs to me that much of any of the pages are so similar, that the page changes happen only in one of three or four different containers on that 'page'

It occurs to me that I could just change the contents of any one of those containers... and not need to clear and then re-draw consistent components such as the header, footer and menu.

Can I do that, just change container-contents from a link?

    How?

    Many thanks.
    Paul

You can place changing content on a layer or layers and link to the layer instead of a new page. You can use a regular link (the one you click) or a Mouse-over link that links to the content when the cursor moves over the target object.
