Default WD10 issue with rendered page size.

I have just completed the conversion of my old test website (www.thegreygeek.us) to Web Designer 10 Premium.
    It is a supersite with 3 variants: Main=1015px, Tablet=640px, sPhone=480px
Yes, it seems to be to big (the index.html file is 567kb) and takes a long time to load.
    Never-the-less the issue is:
on my 24" desktop 1920x1200 the variant sizes are rendered (width) approximately: 997px, 589px, and 446px.
this a bit smaller than I would like but ok.
The problem is on a 15" laptop 1366x768 they render approximately: 663px, 589px, and 446px.
These sizes are to small and look terrible on the laptop.
Obviously the variants are displayed by reducing the width of the browser to simulate the three.
All browsers do the same thing: IE11, Chrome: 24, Mozilla Firefox: 29: I did not try Opera.
On the smartphone a Lumia1020 The pages look fine.
So? Why are they displaying so small? The .web file is 63mb so it is a problem to attach to this forum:
    Any suggestions?

I would not use the Scale to Fit Page option.

ok, I get it. Which is a bit scary for an old guy. I went back to a regular site vs the supersite because it was taking to long to load over the air or a slow wifi location. Now it is working fine again. Gary, my last remaining issue is that this Host wants only SFTP. Passive will give Filezilla timeouts and WD10 gives "General FTP error" So... I have a ticket open with XARA.
    Thanks again.
