    Default Re: Art Deco G

G is a fine letter. That produces an interesting design. It comes together well with that background, Gary.

    I agree. It's a wonderful G, mister GB.

Like it a lot Mr. Bouton! Reminds me of a project we had to do in high school.

Well, there you have it, Mr. Duke.

High school was when I stopped growing as an artist!

Default A poster done the long way around :)

Wanting some anatomical accuracy here, I used Poser to model the hands, modeled the keyboard and then used the Poster Live Effect filter to get a handle on where to draw what.

Someone once said to me, "You know how to draw much better than me." My reply was, "No, I just know how to cheat better than you"

    Fair enough, Mike, yeah.

To revise me ironic stand a little, I believe that anything it takes to bring a visual idea to life is fair game.

IOW, Purism has no place in Art.

    Thanks!

    Really nice piece, Gare.
Ideas or pictures from the mind, then transfered to whatever medium one chooses, is art to me.

Thanks Ron and Mike for the validation!

I get 2% uncomfortable sometimes posting this sort of stuff, because after all, this forum is hosted by a vector graphics, videotape restoration, and musical instrument company.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
