    Default Moving ahead

Thanks, Rik, and I think 54 pages of artwork is on the tedious side to thumb through. Unless you have a sandwich and a blanket nearby.

So I began a Volume II (or "2" if you don't want to come off as pretentious) approximately HERE

I thank you for your patience and hope you enjoy more of the same.

[QUOTE=Gare;596520]White on white with a splash of color. A trend I'm trying to break. But in the meanwhile...

I made an attempt at drawing your pear Gary but based my pear on what we have in some supermarkets called wonky fruit and veg. It tastes just the same as usual fruit and veg. but is mis-shapened but a lot cheaper and no they have not got a straight banana Sorry about the white gap, I forgot to alter the clip view.

    Default A nice pear

Bravo for your effort which demonstrates your talent, stygg!

And I'm sorry, but I am not responsible for your straight bananas, and other misshapen fruit there. God knows what a fruit still life people paint across the pond!

As long as I've provoked a tutorial:

1.) MAGIX should pay me, and

2.) Y'all need a reference. The attached Xara file pretty much shows why I did and you can figure out the "how".

Top left is a bitmap I used for reference. It's locked. At right is my finished drawing, and at bottom is a wireframe view of same.

Great job, stygg. You should be proud of your effort as every artist ought to be! Motivation often counts for more than technique. And persistence is at the top of the Talent Food Chain!
