Thread: website issue

  1. #1

    Default website issue

I'm using WD10P to create a mobile site.
There's a white box at the top side and a white frame on the side that I can't get rid of, and I don't know how they got there.
I looked at a wireframe version of the site and I don't see them.
Any ideas how to get rid of them?
    I'd appreciate any help.
    Thanks.

It looks to me as if the page orientation is set to Landscape.

Or, these were objects from your main site that have not been resized.

Those objects are on the "Page Background" layer, which is locked by default (so you don't accidentally move background objects). So you need to unlock that Page Background layer in the Page & Layer gallery, then you can select those objects and either remove or resize them to fit the narrower page.

However I'd expect those background objects to have been reduced in width automatically when you created the Mobile variant, so we'll look into why that hasn't happened for your design.

    Thanks

    Thanks guys.
I unlocked the Page Background layer, hid the 3 items, and relocked.
    Looks better.
