    Hello everyone http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I am looking for a Xara X logo or site theme designer to help me with logo or site theme mock-ups for my customers. I of course am willing to pay a retainer fee per project and then a final fee once the customer decides which logo they like best. I would need the .xar file once the customer has made their choice so that I could then begin to build their web site.

It is also quit possible that I would change or morph the logo to some degree according to site requirements. I am quite familiar with Xara X and use it in the design and layout of all my sites.

Here are some examples of sites I have designed around logos that were originally designed by other designers. All artwork except for the logos on these sites were generated by me, using Xara X or Webster.

    www.telelanguage.com
    www.rosecitywholesale.com
    www.americanag.com

Are any of you interested in talking with me?

If this question is out of place on this forum then I apolagize in advance. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

NOTE: I also intend to use this forum for ideas and feedback on some of my own design work. I have read a lot of the responses and have found that this group of regulars is very talented and very responsive. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

what a generous offer. Unfortunately you forgot to mention the amount of the retainer. Hey, we are living in the 21st century, so nobody is willing to work for nothing.

US$ 1.000 per project and month would be a fair offer, anythiing less would be an insult. Terms of payment: 50% down, 50% upon delivery as a password protected file. pw will be sent to you as soon as the funds will irrevocably hit our account. In addition send a fax order signed with your own blood as well as a statement from your bank that you run a serious enterprise and the expenses will be covered.

This is how real biz is done in today's world. Everything else will be considered as fraud in this forum.

If you wish to give further information and discuss this further then contact me

I'm sure we can reach mutual agreement if we can see eye to eye and you like what I can produce.
Check out some of my postings if you havn't seen them previously here in the xara gallery, and artist of the month at the begining of last year in the xaraxone.

thanks for giving us - finally - your name.

Serious online job and profit exchanges feature a button called: 'Looking fishy?' If you click the button the ad will be automatically reported to the management.

Please keep in mind that the more information and details you disclose, the more serious your offer will be. We've had enough nobrainers and spammers in here, and I want to avoid that some of the younger professionals in this forum will end up delivering their ideas and work for nothing. I've gone through this experience 26 years ago, it had been a hard and stony path, but today I know better and in a democratic world I have the right to warn others if something looks fishy.

In addition, you are a **new** member, we don't know anything about you. And in rough times like today with an economy going down the river, many designers, artists and illustrators can't resist to chase even the fishiest offer just to survive. Unfortunately there are many people, companies and coporations exploiting this situation, leaving the professional without and payment.

What's wrong with posting and disclosing all details?

With this type of post you would definitely be banned from a professional job and project exchange.
