    Default Crystal Fae

Hi all, I’m still alive and keeping busy creating fantasy art. I have an exhibition later this summer in a local gallery.
I have found that in creating such images I use a variety of programs and Xara is the one I like to use for those finishing touches in post render production. For instance the image posted here has a photograph back drop of a wood land scene with fountain fade transparency rectangle overlay. The wings are vector shapes as so are the crystals, the white glow at the base of the crystals is an oval with a Gaussian blur applied and the wee fae herself is a 3D png. I print these on either stretched canvas or tiled on 4’ wide wallpaper for full wall murals.
Hope I have posted this in the right place...

    Enjoy..

    Best wishes
    Tabian

She's enchanting. How big are the images for your gallery show going to be?

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Hi Gary, the sizes of the images are many ranging from 20" x 16" to 4' x 12' I use a Eco solvent VersaCamm 54" printer. With some of the larger prints I export the JPGs at 600 dpi before sending them through to RIP.

Good to see your work again Tabian, and good luck with your show.
