Then the statistical distribution of shapes drawing from a circle or ring by bevel types in Extrude tool (that is probably neither exactly statistical distribution, but so a kind of analyse )

That looks like either a passel or a gaggle, csehz, non-technically speaking.

    like it

the thing about gary's [well chosen] demographic is they are all known to have different names so you cannot use statistics to analyse the naming distribution... [but gary knows this I am sure]

Wasn't happy about the finish on the pages of the book so added a few alterations to it and the stand

I like this third one Stygg, assumingly behind the book there is a wall and like that can stand like that on the top of the column :-)

The next step would be maybe extrude text to the book, with some extrude depth 2, maybe that allows some shining

Cheers for the comment csehz, I will have a go at putting some text in the book, may be something like "The Book of Csehz" Those four dark shapes on the pages are not part of the extrusion, they are transparencies I added for effect.

It's a beautiful and imaginative combination of the "old" and the "new", stygg. You did this quite well!

In fact, back when I lived in Manhattan, a large publisher, Random House, had their offices on 2nd Ave in the 50s. And in the atrium when you first walked in was a copy of the OED, oversized, perched on a pedestal, very reminiscent of your creation there!

    My Best,

    Gary

Thank you for your kind comment Gary. I based the image on a stone book and stand in my local church I remembered when I was a boy. Thats going back a few years or more!
