    Default Punk Warrior

Technical comments : I used Xara Photo and Graphic Designer 2013. In general I followed a pretty low tech approach - just the line drawing tools and flat colour, although a gradient was used for the sky. And the Mold tool really came in handy for curving the text on the shield.

A few comments about my inspirations : The basic outfit of T-Shirt, drainpipe jeans and hightops comes from The Ramones, the Godfathers of Punk. The face came from Patty Smyth (see below) and, while she wasn't really a punk, she was married to Richard Hell and is currently married to John McEnroe - that's got to count for something. And concerning the "exaggerated dimensions" : it's comic book art - what do you want?

Love it. The brick wall is too clean though. Cries out for graffiti.

Thank you for the kind words Gary.

I did want to do more with the background but I was growing kind of exhausted with the drawing (Am I the only one that happens to ?) and decided to wrap it up.

I liked it yesterday when I saw it and still like it today. Good work Jim.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

I like the wee Staffie Jim has a nice aggressive stance.
    Design is thinking made visual.
