PDF problem with Magenta

Problem with PDF in Xara Designer Pro X9
I make a rainbow logo. The beginning and the end of the rainbow is 100% magenta. But when I make a PDF the magenta is purple. Even when I import the PDF in Adobe Illustrator I get the purple color instead of Magenta. How can that be?
If I put a square next to the logo in color 100% magenta I see in the PDF the Magenta but not in the logo. Can you guys help me here?
