Default Fade circle to complete transparency?

XaraX: Let's say I have a circle, square or rounded rectange. I need to know how to get to fade to complete transparency at the edge. Thanks.

    Use Feathering?!

I am assuming that you mean Designer Pro X, and not X1.

sometimes some added blur can be effective - Gaussian for example [live effects - soften filters]

Not familiar with Live Effects. This must be an add-0n as my bitmap editor doesn't give me anything to work with. However, thanks for the additional info, it will come in handy in the future.

don't think blur is in xaraX because live effects are not, so my bad for not noticing that you were using this - can be found in other programs though

Have you tried clicking and dragging on the object with the transparency tool?
