Default A different kind of book...

As a keen musician and guitar enthusiast, I had the idea of a guitar colouring book, to be self-published as a large (8 1/2" x 11") paperback. The instruments are all hand-traced from photos, using Xara's Bezier tool (how anyone can use the Illustrator version is beyond me!). All the text (including the book's title - "The Ultimate GUITAR Coloring Book") uses American spelling to make the book more international.

The illustrations include a range of iconic designs of acoustic, electric and bass guitars, plus images where the hardware (pickups, controls etc) or even the body outline are omitted, giving additional freedom to the "artist". The guitars' headstock shapes have been slightly modified to avoid copyright infringement.

The website for my book is www.guitarcoloringbook.com
There you will find a sample PDF image to print out and colour!

Here are a few sample images - the text in the actual book will be on the facing page rather than actually on the image itself!
