Can we see some close ups for the incredible details?

    Beautiful image Graham.

That is really awesome looking. Looks like a photograph.

Just curious - do you hand draw the aircraft first on paper and then trace it with xara or do you do it 100% inside the software without any tracing?

Gary, thanks for the comment. I've added a close up.

Frogula, I start by creating a simple 3D wire frame. That allows me to draw any subject in any composition I wish. I then import that into Xara and use it as the basis for the vector drawing. Thanks for your comments.

Gray it's such a treat to see your illustrations. Bravo!

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

May I ask what 3D software you like to use? And when you say you create it in 3D I assume you can then rotate the wire frame at any angle?

    Larry, thanks so much.

Frogula, I use a very simple little program called RcCad. The progam is very limited but perfect for what I want, producing a quick and crude 3D wire frame. I've also used Blender in one instance. I can usually make a quick wire frame in 3-4 hours. Example below.

Thanks, BR. It does look a little like him, but where's Muttley?
