Thanks to everyone who replied. You have rescued our Christmas ;-)

Do you think Magix will provide updates to fix this problem with Web Designer (including older versions such as 6)?

    I have no idea.

Personally (YMMV) I don't think they have an obligation to, but they may decide to anyway.

They might look at this as an opportunity to offer a great discount for an upgrade.

I'm in the same boat. Uploading a website causes most of the images to be only uploaded half-way. Page backgrounds go missing, etc. My solution was to just export locally and then FTP it up using Filezilla. After reading this thread I thought I would try the same fix (rolling back from IE11 to IE10). Unfortunately, Windows 8.1 does not allow you to uninstall or rollback to IE10. I found instructions to "turn off IE11" but that seems pretty lame. As a web developer I do need to check clients sites in IE just to make sure it is functional. Sure, I have access to other computers and can test it on them - but, really?

But Really = Microsoft pulling a move where I (the user) cannot control which software I want on my computer. So, even though IE11 is breaking something else on my computer I cannot use IE10. Their option is use it or turn it off.
