Default Site published via ftp broken

I’ve been using web designer 6,7,8,9. Publishing via build in ftp always worked fine. Now all of a sudden the published site is broken. Objects like pictures or navbar are not visible or only partial. When I publish the site via third party ftp uploader (speedcommander and syncback ) everything is fine. Do you have an idea? Because I like the one button publish function in web designer I’d appreciate if someone could give a hint. win7 64 aweb7 www.lerch-weber.ch

There is a problem with Internet Explorer 11. Even if you never use it, if it is on your computer it will affect upload. Either revert to IE10 or carry on using a 3rd party FTP for now as the Xara developers are working on fixing the problem :-)

    Hello
Today (05.12.2013) there was an update available. I installed it, rebooted win 7 64 and started Web Designer 9. Besides a white window showing nothing more happened (waited at least 15 minutes).
How do I care for my website now?
How do I get the next update?
    Kind of disastrous..

I am currently working with support with the same issue and it would timeout at 17% upload. I have also updated to the latest version
We have been experimenting with some registry changes and got it up to 90%
I will keep you posted when it is resolved.

I've tried it a few more times (powerdown + restart web designer) and the result was always the white window. I still got web designer 8 on the machine. This one stared flawlessly. Then I tried web designer 9 again and it started flwlessly too. Even the full and incremental upload works again. That was very strange.

My upload goes to 112%, then gets aborted with the message "Remote file not found". The remote site is incomplete then. The remote files were deleted previously.

The upload used to work flawlessly for years.

I also had a timeout error message.
    Tried removing IE11 without success.
Solution was to uninstall the latest WD9 patches and go back to Sept 20th 2013 version - ftp problem solved.

Temporarily resolved through a registry setting .Support had me change a registry setting and it no longer times out
Have been told that they are working on another fix

It sounds to me like Microsoft opened up a can of works with 8.1 that is causing no end of challenges for software companies.

I had a problem with a Bluetooth device that would not stay uninstalled. I would uninstall the device and then then next time I booted up my machine, the device would be installed and running. Yesterday after a Windows update, it finally remained uninstalled.
