Exclamation October Giveaway: A Dozen Vector Gears

I was listening to Blood, Sweat, and Tears' "Spinning Wheel", and then "Proud Mary" came on ("big wheels keep on turning"), so this month I was provoked into not only creating
12 gears in Xara's vector file format
as the Giveaway, but I'm currently finishing a video on a couple of ways to quickly build an elegant, intricate gear or other circularly symmetrical shape.

Enjoy, and please let us know how you're going to use the gears. And if they stick and you can't move them around on the page, I'll draw a can of DW-40 for you next month.

Thanks for the great gears, Gare. They are sure to come in handy. Great animation on the download page, too.

Thanks Gary my gears are not stuck. I am not a fan of wd40 so glad you do not have to do the extra work.

Thanks for the gears Gary. After seeing your jpg image I thought I'd try and put some together as you did as they look really good. I've done one in colour and one with black gears and white outline, I like this one and will print and frame it if I can come up with a suitable background, any suggestions ?

Good ones Stygg. I like both but like Boy I like the colored one best too. I think the background you show looks fine.

Cheers Boy and Larry for your comments. I'll leave the background for both as it is and print both!

Good! The more I look at those the more the black set grows on me. Excellent work and idea Stygg.

I think the black set seems to be more of a 3D look Larry and there is something relaxing about it, I can live with that on my office wall

Finally found a good use for the gears group, makes a great crazy clock. If I can put it together it could replace the boring kitchen clock I have at present
