Incomplete image WD9 Prem

I have an image on my home page, which is shown in page view with a grey area on the bottom third of my image, I can get rid of the grey area by making the image smaller, which I don't want to do.
this problem has just occurred, when I do a preview of the page with 4 browsers the image is full size no problem.
when I upload my web site the image will not be complete, I have to move the image further up the page and reduce the size to display in full.
I can't find the grey area or anything when I inspect the layers in my home page, my file exceeds upload limit. you may have the answer in not I'll keep trying.
will uninstall and re install the prog help?

For your published site, try a browser refresh (Ctrl+F5). You may have had a corrupted upload initially and if there have been no changes in your design, it may not be updating.

You can also force a full site upload.

You can duplicate the image (Ctrl-K) and delete the original to force a new filename, so on publishing you should get a clean upload.
