XARA Web Designer 9 Premium Problems after updates

My XARA programme just did updates automatically and when I opened a webpage to work on and saved it, then went to preview it, it is bringing up a dialogue box stating: 'Unable to find that filter to import that file with'.
This is rendering the programme unusable for me and I cannot proceed. Can you please advise me urgently how to fix this issue?. HHEELLPP

Yes I shut down, rebooted. In the end I actually uninstalled XARA and shut the computer down and reinstalled the programme.

Still the same issue 'Unable to find the filter to import the file with' INSANE. I am not a programme developer and have no clue as to what this means.

Will XARA help, no contact from their support centre yet.
IF this is an issue in the programming of the update without it being tested, (wrong)!

Perhaps this will work: right-click on the program shortcut and then select from the menu "Run as Administrator". You will only have to do this once.

I have trouble after installing updates.... in the end I installed but NO update ....and all is fine .
Thing is ...XARA don't seem to bother about it .
