Strange Ocurrence with Screen Capture

I work with the folks at Muvipix, a great group I might add. Working in Sony Vegas I did a Screen Capture, and pasted it into XaraX it left out the background stuff. When I pasted the same capture into Ps it gave me the whole thing. Any ideas?

You can change the Alpha channel paste behavior by either editing the registry, or downloading and installing XaReg then changing the behavior. XaReg is simply an interface to changing the Xara registry items.

Xareg is cool. Lets you fix all sorts of stuff. For your problem -- start Xareg, then, on the General tab, check 'Paste Bitmaps With Alpha'. That's it!
