Brilliant post, Mike.
There are some magnificent ones.

So difficult, if you had to choose just one favourite.
I think it would depend on your mood, what hits home with you etc... etc... etc...

However, I did like this one:

I agree, though the 2 page spread that was all white space except for one corner with McDonald's logo and fries image, I found to be too much wasted space. I've seen ads before of mostly white space, so I wasn't too impressed with that one.
