    Default error message

    Every time I open Xara Designer Pro X9 I get an error message as in the attached

    Any ideas what this means

    It means every time you open DPX9 there's an error, Mike

    Might be a problem with the file you had open last time you shut down DPX9. Download XaReg2.5 (link in my sig) and on the General page you can disable the restore file on load. See if that helps.

    Thanks for reply but makes no diff.

    Why have an error number on it that means nothing.

    Well it means something to the developers, but as we don't have their list of error codes we can only try what seems possible.

    Thanks anyway ....just send a ticket in to support ..... thing is the program opens after the error message and carries on working ....
    just a pain when it keeps popping up

    I found the problem ...... on some of the web pages there was 2 Page Backgrounds and 2 pasteboard backgrounds.

    Thing is all I did when I had done my home page I duplicated it about 6 times and renamed them.
    Some had double backgrounds .....how does that happen .... anyway I removed the copy backgrounds and all is fine.
