Default Colors, names and codes matching models?

    Hello everybody,

I want to paint an object with beige wich in the RAL color chart is RAL 1001, how to match the right color with xara since colors are not by name ?
Can we search colors by name in xara photo & graphic designer 7 or later versions?
what about if i need a pantone color for example ?

Thank you very much for your support.

No. Xara does not include the RAL color model.

I have attached a file with the RAL palette. I have unchecked "Delete unused colors" in the options. Don't know if that is a system wide or document specific attribute.

Color names are included and can be seen in the color gallery and in the names gallery.

The "Delete unsed colours and styles" is AFAIK document specific. But like all things Xara there is a workaround. Open a new default document and un check this option (you can find it in the options panel on the view tab) Save as a template file>save template and check the box to use as default. Now when you click the new document button or when you start the program your default document will always have this option un checked.

Here is the ACO file. Just drag and drop it into XDP. It is ZIPped, unzip it first.

Thanks for sharing all these palettes Mike Oh and the .aco file can also be loaded into your colour gallery. Just copy and paste the file into the Xara [whichever version you have] palettes folder in the program files and it will be loaded in your colour gallery where you can easily double click a colour swatch to add it to your colourline.
