In a way, but I suspect you seek approval and encouragement from the viewer and I'm not sure that's going to last if the theme continues or there's no progression.

i honestly thought the video completely pointless and without merit
having said that it is a personal opinion
if his mates enjoy it then great
best not seek that encouragement and approval in a graphic design forum though

I'm going to have to agree with Pauland and put the original idea for a video on hold (I've still got the photos and keeping the bird for future use). I've started on a new (mostly) retro 80s 8-bit computer demo 'simulation'.
