    Default Editing curves in PLD9

    I've drawn a freehand closed curve.
    I click on a node and try to convert it to a line - but when I click "make line" - nothing happens - it stays a curve.
    BUT, if I draw a straight line like a "v" shape and click on the bottom node, I can use the "make curve" icon.
    What gives?

    A curve would need two nodes selected to make line.
