Thread: Brochures

Technically, the gutter on the default columns for the text area will fall into a fold using 3 columns. The fold will be slightly towards the fold on the outside and inside of the folded in panel. I prefer centered text areas (usually) and so design accordingly. And instead of the new columns, I would use separate text areas...but that's me. I also have traditionally done that in page layout software capable of frames with columns. It is less fiddling around for me.

I installed XDP9 on my desktop machine and it behaves fine on it. It must be something to do with the graphics on the DELL XPS-18.

I did notice that the page numbers in your screenshot are larger than normal.
Perhaps you have your Windows screen scaling set higher than default (100% / 96dpi) This would probably be the cause.

It should not matter which type of PC or graphics chip you have.
As far as I am aware, Xara's software (still) has it's own graphics routines independent of the graphics card..
    But screen scaling does matter.
