    Ah, I wasn't aware that this had been changed, I always chose the custom install after being caught the first time.

    they are taking the clue from cnet. Almost impossible to download something from cnet without getting crapware along with it...none of the green "download now" arrows actually down load what you are looking for. Just the crapware.

    Yeah, you have to try to guess which of the C-NET download buttons is legit. If possible, look for another download source first.

    i always try to download from the manufactrrs website
    but even thats not possible sometimes

    IMO the ones to complain to about Simplicheck are the ones who made the decision that this should be included with Xara software
