Default One other XDP question...comment bubbles.

Does Xara Designer Pro do comment bubbles? I'd rather not have to create them by hand...

    Thanks,

    Ray

    Hi Ray,
If you mean automatically the answer is no. But they are easy to create, you can group the bubble and the text, and quickly clone and edit the text when needed.
For certain situations you can even create repeating objects allowing you to edit the shape of the bubble for example and having the others updated automatically.
Plus you can design the bubble as much simple or as much complex (with all kind of effects) as you like. A fully automatic way probably wouldn't give this flexibility.

Thanks MEB. It's no big deal I guess. Your points are well taken.

There are some text bubbles actually in the Page Elements folder. These are programmed to expand as you add more text.

Yes I forgot to add that detail. You can create stretchy panels/elements whatever, that can automatically adjust to the length of the text they have.
Or use those already pre-created for you in the designs gallery as Gary said. Completely forgot about that!

Why not download Designer Pro X and use it for free for 30 days?

I will do that. Do you know how the EVAL version is limited? I hate trying crippled software...

    Thanks,

    It's fully functional.
The designs gallery has additional content after licensing, but the application itself is not 'crippled'..

Not sure if the entire contents of the Designs Gallery are available for the trial version.
