I hate XaraX interface, i mean the toolbar and the icons......
I read this compliant before in this form, but no one did anything toward it. So here is a challenge, why not see all the creative people in this form to help XaraX to have a better interface , just like what Gary did with XaraZone web site. I think it is going to be hard but lets start.

Can this be the same Aj who replied to Simon's Why? thread with:

quote:
That's why I bought it
1- Recommendation by Gary following his tutorials
2- Look femiliar interface and tools (CorelDraw)

    I'm puzzled, Aj!

I feel like I grew up with that interface. As a consequence I rather like it. I am however interested in what others find cumbersome about it. Do tell...

I simply can't use other software since I've started with Xara. I'm so spoiled. Have you ever tried to make a simple heart shape in AI? It's a terrible experience. I've enven seen tutorial about this!!!! Can you imagine Gary wrote tutorial: How to make a heart shape in Xara? It would probably be his his -1st. I can't understand why someone would find Xara's interface offensive/unusable.....I've used numerous graphics apps and Xara's is definitely the easiest/user-friendly, particularly in comparison to Illustrator, Freehand & CorelDRAW.

Maybe it's TOO simple to use???!!!!!

While both Ross's are getting younger. (Twice as fast?)

    It's not fair.

AJ — I don't get that upset about Xara's interface. Having worked with DRAW, Illustrator, and FreeHand, I think Xara's interface is clean and simple and easy to use. I have added a small toolbar on the Infobar with a few tools I use a lot such as cut, copy, paste in place, inport and export, group, and print.

Not sure what I would do to make it different.
