I am designing a website that will be viewed on smartphones, I need to add a search field that a user can enter a customer and then hit submit and the address will be shown. Anyone know how I will be able to do this in xara web design 9 premium?

I think you would have to link to a data base to do this.

You could create a scrollable directory or names, separate each section with a letter, A, B, C, D etc., create anchors for the first letters, and then link to the anchors.
