Thanks for the zoom level hacks, Morris! I got them to work but not for the line widths as the drop-down box doesn't show any changes. Can you show us the value notation you used?

Is it possible to also change the font size values in the drop-down box? That would be very useful.

It would be nice to have these options included in XaReg2.

One thing bothered me. There's also a setting called "LineWidthsPixel", and, until now, I couldn't figure out its purpose.

LineWidthsPoints and LineWidthsPixel are both for setting a predefined list of line widths. When you set both, you are presented only one of them. Which one it is depends on the units used. If, in Page options, you set millimeters/centimeters/inches/feet or whatever "real world" unit of measurement, LineWidthsPoints comes into play. When you set "pixels" as your unit, LineWidthsPixel is used. So, it is possible to have two different lists of predefined line widths.

I miss version 1's options to load and save settings and toolbars, as well as the possibility to move around and rename Design and Fill Gallery folders.

In an earlier post I requested the return of the tool tips but I hope these will be more descriptive as before.

Saving toolbar settings was a feature that Bill wanted to drop in the following XaReg release.

Saving toolbar settings was a feature that Bill wanted to drop in the following XaReg release.

I am sure that Bill had his reasons for no longer wanting to include it and I understand some of the challenges involved (even for point releases) but a feature by which to save your work space is very much in demand as you must know. Of course I can do a manual backup for point releases.

I'll think about gallery folders.

I will not lose any sleep if these features are no longer included but the Design Gallery is still a rather cumbersome 'beast' in Xara and not very user friendly. Bill's tool made it all a bit more manageable.

And to your previous question: I have not found any reference in the Registry for predefined font sizes list.

Thanks for the video, Morris, but still no go. Very strange. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the zoom level hack works fine but not the LineWidthsPoints and LineWidthsPixel options. I attached a screen shot in case I missed something after all...

Too bad the predefined font list cannot be hacked.
