How do I remove the .web extention?

Hi all, this is my second post, I just learned how to make rounded corners on an image, when I try to save as a .jpeg it web designer saves as a yada.jpeg.web

umm, I need a jpeg not a .web
I'm using this to edit graphics and photos for uploading to a wordpress CMS

what am I missing?

use export as jpg not save as
