In WD9 you don't need to save the files to a local disc, WD9 does it automatically to a temp folder on preview. I would imagine it's the same temp folder whilst WD9 remains open.

It is the same temp folder each time in that session, but the OP wants to use the files locally (on his computer), he doesn't want to publish the site each time to check each page. Exporting locally tells it what folder to use for that session (and is far simpler than trying to find the temp folder it uses) and from what I see solves the problem the OP had. Is that right PaulWR?
