    And there's always charmap. Typing charmap into the search box of the windows start menu brings up all characters. Copy and paste in as unformatted text. Keep open for the session.

    A Character Map (charmap) shortcut can be found in the Programs/Accessories/System Tools folder (Windows XP, Vista and 7).

    If you cannot find it there, you can make your own shortcut and place it on your desktop by going to C:\WINDOWS\System32\charmap.exe, right-clicking it, selecting "Make shortcut" and C&P-ing it.
