    If you could post the code that you have inserted into the placeholder, which, when present on the page causes this problem someone may be able to help you figure it out

    Try making the Google maps the bottom-most item on your page.
    There is probably blank space around it that is covering your drop downs.

    I did try that, interesting enough when moved off the page, no problem, tried it in a new layer that opened with mouse click, still happened, very odd and first time I see anything like this

    Can't get your iframe code to work, it just comes up with not being allowed in an iframe. However using the url's in your script above I can create a placeholder which works and doesn't interfere with any dropdown menus. I'd delete your original iframe and try a new one.
